PTU was setup on 16 Jan 1997 by an act of state Legislature. PTU main purpose is to increase the level of education for Technical, Management & Pharmaceutical Degrees. It is affiliated to UGC.
PTU has published CET Results 2009 for the acknowledgment to various courses.
