Raksha Bandhan is a festival of Hindu and Sikh religion, its actual meaning is “Bond of Protection”. It celebrates the relationship between sisters and brothers.

The festival is celebrated by tying a rakhi or a holy thread on the wrist of the brothers by their sisters. On this occassion brothers and sisters offer sweets and gifts to each other.
