Lyricist gulshan bawra died

Gulshan Bawra:
Gulshan Bawra was born (12th April) at a place 30 km from Lahore in a place called Sheikhupura. His father was in construction business. During the INDOPAK partition time the young Gulshan saw his parents being killed in front of his eyes.

Gulshan Bawra aka Gulshan Kumar Mehta music lyricist in bollywood movies died at his Pali Hill residence, Mumbai today, he was 72 years old. Due to heart failure Gulshan Bawra died.

He has written lyrics for famous songs like Kasme Vaade Nibhayenge Hum, Yaari Hai Imaan Mera, Agar Tum Na Hote and Waada Karle Saajana. For ‘Mere Desh Ki Dharati’ and ‘Yaari Hai Imaan Mera’ songs he won filmfare awards.
