Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited:
KPTCL (Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited) inviting application for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Elecl.).
Education Criteria: BE (Computer Science), BE (Information Science), BE (Information Technology) and AMIE Section A & B (Computer Science) candidates.
Process of recruitment according to KPTCL: Selection based on the marks secured in the academic qualification, Technical Aptitude Test (TAT)/Aptitude Test and Interview in the ratio of 50:30:20, duly following roster system. Eligible candidates will be called for
interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit obtained in the academic qualification marks and TAT /Aptitude Test marks together.
Technical Aptitude Test /Aptitude Test will be conducted at Bangalore only.
Fee: SC/ST=Rs 100 and General=Rs 200 should be sent in the form of DD on any Nationalized Bank in favour of ‘The General Manager (Admn. & HRD), KPTCL, Bangalore’, payable at Bangalore.
Submission of application should be done ONLINE strictly.
Last Date for filling application: 17.09.2007

If you have done both BE and Diploma, you can apply separately with different application.
how much is your BE and Diploma %age? and you are from which branch?
Any idea what would be the cut off %age?

as per i have information………….its totally based on merit…..probably no interview also………….
who has more than 68% gen electrical branch can wait for this recruitment………..they have a very chance of getting…………
the exact date of recruitment i dont no……..bt the end of dec-jan the process wil get complete ………..

Hi Paris,
As i asked one of the KPTCL employees on the same day after my doc verification, he told me that they will dispatch the Final list around 18th December.
and the next process would be Counseling for posting.
