HP BOARD RESULTS 2009
The Himachal Pradesh Board of school education has declared the results for classes 10, 11 and 12 examinations which were conducted recently.
About the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education;
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education was established in the year 1969 under an Act No.14 of 1968.This educational Board had its headquarters at shimla initially which was then shifted to Dharamshala in Kangra district in the year 1983. As of now, the board has control over the conduction of examinations for classes 8, 10, +1 and +2.in addition to this it also conducts exams for departmental examinations like J.B.T., T.T.C., P.V.T.C. etc.
When this Educational Board was established it just had 34 officials but now it has 438 officials for its management. Nearly 4.5 lakh candidates appear or the examinations conducted by the board every year.
