After the huge success of Motorola CLIQ android phone, Motorola is going to launch its second android DROID on October 28 12:00AM on its website following that the third android that is Motorola Calgary with Verizon wireless carrier will be launched later in this year. In 2009 Motorola has already planned to launch three android phones where as Apple is still silent, they might have some plans for next year. But we should not think about the next year from now onwards as the present and latest android phones are keeping hands on the hot seat of the gadget market.
According to sources, Motorola will be launching Calgary in the fourth quarter of this year but till now no date has been fixed for launching.
Motorola Calgary comes with MOTOBLUR user interface as it was in CLIQ with optional joystick and three touch-sensitive Android keys on the Calgary screen. For additional storage capacity microSD memory card slot is given. Apart from all this a sliding QWERTY keyboard, in-built GPS receiver, 3.5mm headset jack, digital magnetometer, 3-megapixel photo snapper and of course Wi-Fi also.
