Rolls-Royce ‘GHOST’ Launched in INDIA
On Friday Nov 2oth 2009, Indian luxury car market saw a new entrant, Rolls-Royce Ghost. Rolls Royce Ghost was unveiled in New Delhi by the regional director Colin Kelly of the company’s Asia Pacific wing.
Rolls Royce Ghost price starts from 2.5 crore INR onwards. The booking for the car has already opened and the company will start delivering the car in the first quarter of 2010. India is seeing a growth in high networth individuals recently. Currently India has more than 1000 individuals whose cash worth is more than $30 million.
Last year Rolls Royce launched its high end luxury car Phantom in India and successfully sold 15 cars. Rolls Royce Phantom starts at 3.5 crore INR. Looking at the successful Phantom initiative and growth of high networth individuals, Rolls Royce is targeting to sell at least 75 Ghost cars.
