Deepika Padukone will be the only Bollywood personality to have dinner with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and 20 cabinet’s ministers at PM’s residence in Delhi. The dinner was organised in the honor of Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and his wife Miyuki Hatoyama who are currently on a visit to India. The Japanese PM and his wife are huge Bollywood fans and they expressed their desire to meet Deepika Padukone. They liked her performance in Om Shanti Om.
Deepika got a call from the PM’s office asking her if she would like to attend the dinner, she immediately agreed. She wore a Saree by Manish Malhotra for the occasion.
