India’s Prestigious Institutes are short of Faculty members

It is shocking to know that India’s prestigious institutions IIT’s  and IIM’s are short of at least 3000 faculty members.

Other renowed institutes like (IISc) at Banglore doesnot even have half of the faculty members. Lakhs of students struggled each year to gain admission to these institutes and specially IIT have the largest shortage of faculty.

Currently there is a a shortfall of 222 of professors at IIT-Bombay alone.
