REPUBLIC DAY OF INDIA: Live Webcast
You heard it right!! India is going to celebrate it’s 61st REPUBLIC DAY on 26th Jan 2010 and If I have to go by what’s mentioned on the official website http://republicday.nic.in/, the REPUBLIC DAY event will be available as Live Webcast for the Internet generation. This certainly indicates that Govt. Of India is acknowledging the power and growth of Internet that India has witnessed and making all possible efforts to reach to people through all communication channels available.
This is a very admirable step, as we all know how important Internet has become in our everyday lives and how we are merging our TV watching habits with Internet.
The REPUBLIC DAY celebration will start with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony by Hon’ble President of India and it will be followed by the grande REPUBLIC DAY PARADE from Rajpath. All of 61st REPUBLIC DAY Celebration of India will be available from 9.25AM onwards on 26th Jan 2010 as Live Streaming Webcast.
