Google released Buzz and created a lot of excitement, controversies, privacy concerns and dilmna for Twitter and Facebook fans. What Google brought to internet users who are addicted to Twitter and Facebook could have been done by adding a simple extension to Gmail that shows and allows sharing links, pictures, videos, status messages etc. updates from Facebook and Twitter right into your Gmail just like Google Buzz does it.
What Google did by launching Google Buzz is, they created a lot of DILMNA and chaos for users who are very comfortably used to Twitter and Facebook. I am very comfortable with sharing my updates on Facebook and Twitter and don’t want one more service that does exactly the same in a less organized and monopolic way. So the idle solutionfor me was a plugin that would pull my friends, followers and social network updates from Facebook, Twitter and integrates it with Gmail.
